  • "My husband and I sought help from Isabel to try and help our daughter poppy manage her Tourettes. Living with Tourettes is very stressful and we were looking for ways to try and help her as she struggles with sleep and relaxation. Isabel uses a programme called sitting still like a frog which she has taught to both my husband and I to use at home with Poppy. It is simple and means we can help poppy in a practical way since we can do very little else toes her Tourettes. Poppy loves to go to therapy and especially loves Theo the therapy bear. We have fund that on the days that poppy has therapy she is much more relaxed and is able to get to sleep quicker. "By November 2020 I knew I was not in a good place, Was in a very dark place, it had been coming for some time. I had been just about managing to hide behind the mask I presented to those around me, including my family, however it was becoming increasingly difficult to to cope and I needed help.

I was not even sure what was wrong but when you wake up in the morning and your first instinct is to cry and the second, to hold back those tears then finding help is the only way forward.

I knew I wanted a holistic approach, someone who would “see me”. I found Isabel’s web page and felt that she may be able to help. I was right. I have had a one to one session with her weekly for the past few weeks and I now have a better understanding of myself and where the root of my anxiety had grown from. I was given practical things I could do, breathing techniques, meditation, writing a “Gratitude journal”, the latter, much to my surprise, was of great help and is now a daily exercise along with just talking, being able to say the words I needed and had held inside for so long.

I can only thank Isabel for guiding me gently on my journey and my family have noted a huge improvement in me and my outlook, I laugh more. Now when I wake up in the morning I no longer want to cry but look forward to what the day may bring"
